Culture Connect
In today’s fast paced world where the younger generation is losing a sense of their cultural identity, the celebration of cultural day serves as a purpose to connect each and every individual student with their roots, their culture. Our school celebrated Culture Connect on the 12th of November, 2021. The students, dressed in their traditional attire, spoke on various topics ranging from food to their traditional attires. They also learnt the traditional method of sun drying of paddy, pounding, husking of rice grains, and some traditional games such as bamboo stilt race. We appreciate everyone who was involved and represented their own cultures. All in all, it was a productive day where the children not only had fun but also learnt to connect with their culture.
