World Environment Day
In recognition of our collective responsibility to preserve and protect our environment, the school commemorated World Environment Day under this year's theme: "Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience." The distinguished guest speakers included Scientist B, Mr. Yanathung Kithan, who oversees the Air Division, Solid Waste Management Division, and Noise Division at the Nagaland Pollution Control Board, accompanied by Ms. Cipeu Iheilung, a Scientific Assistant. Their discourse illuminated the critical imperatives of waste management, recycling, and ecological restoration, urging us, as conscientious stewards, to fortify our commitment to nurturing our precious Earth. Following the formal program, students participated in a mass social work initiative within the school campus. They engaged in activities focused on cleaning and beautifying the school compound and classrooms.
